Eric Pederson

President/ COO

Eric Pederson is head of our operations. He is born and raised in Colorado. He graduated from CSU with a degree in Agronomy. He has worked in production for Con Agra and Celestial Seasonings. He started Pederson’s Recycling & Disposal Inc. as a small hauling company in 1996. He started Apex Shredding Inc. in 2007.

Ann Pederson CSDS

Vice President/ CFO

Ann Pederson was born and raised in Bannockburn, Illinois. She attended Roanoke College in Salem, VA graduating with a degree in French. She has taught elementary school through high school. She graduated from the FRCC Sign Language Interpreter Training Program and worked as an interpreter before joining Eric in their business ventures. She runs the office and helps in the field as needed.

Greta Sugai

Office Administration

Greta Sugai was born and raised in Berthoud, CO and spends a lot of her time as a dance instructor in the Northern Colorado region. She graduated from Colorado Christian University in 2015 with a degree in Youth Ministry and met her husband Jeremy during her time there. They got married in 2013 and live in the mountains with their two pups. Apart from dancing and teaching dance, Greta enjoys hiking in the mountains, good coffee shops, roadtrips and camping! She’s loved working with her family through Apex!

Brent Hassman

Secure Destruction Technician

Brent Hassman is a Colorado native. He joins the Apex Shredding family bringing 30 years of information security background with him. After 30 dedicated years with IBM, he’s enjoying his new role as an Information Destruction Technician. His free time is spent enjoying life with his high school sweetheart of 35 years and all of their four-legged loved ones. He loves to visit his daughter who is married into the United States Air Force wherever she may be in the world, and daring to visit his son with all of his eight-legged friends. He’s dedicated to the proper handling and destruction of the media entrusted to Apex Shredding.

Matt Powell

Secure Destruction Technician

Matt Powell comes to Apex Shredding with many years of experience in retail management, sales, and marketing. Matt's goal is to provide excellent customer service and to allow his work ethic and passions to shine. Matt states, "In today’s world, it has become challenging to find reputable companies and excellent customer service. I promise to deliver on both accounts."
